The summer reading challenge will:
Help motivate you to hit your reading goals
Help you discover new-to-you authors
Connect you with fellow readers to discuss the weekly book!
During the summer reading challenge, you'll receive:
- a printable punch card and social media graphics so you can track and share your progress
- access to the author’s reader group (Discord or Facebook)
- daily discussion questions or book prompts
- behind the scenes fun facts (dependent on the author)
- prizes (books, swag, maybe even some personal sized pizzas?)
- zoom calls with Q&A (dependent on author)
- entry for our GRAND PRIZE, which will be drawn at the end of the challenge

What if I've already read the weekly pick?
Each author will provide a list of alternate titles you may pick from
What if I can't keep up with 1 book/week?
We will have 2 tracks:
- 8 book track: 1 book/week
- 4 book track: 1 book/2 weeks
You are welcome to jump in and out of the challenge as suits your schedule. HOWEVER only those who get all 8 stamps (for reading all 8 books) or all 4 stamps (for reading 4/8 books) will be eligible for our grand prizes.
Will the zoom calls be available for replay?
We will try to make this happen, but cannot promise with 100% certainty. Your best bet is to try to make the live calls.
Where will the challenge take place?
The virtual location will change each week depending on where the author’s reader group is located.
For example, week 1 will take place in Demi’s discord group, but week 2 will take place in Melissa’s Facebook group.
Consider your weekly email from Demi your ‘home base’ with all the links and instructions you’ll need for the week.
